Holiday Elf FPV Getting Started Guide

The Holiday Elf is a GEPRC Mark 5 freestyle build with a Flywoo F722 Pro 55A AM32 stack, DJI O4 Pro, RP1 ELRS and M10 Pro GPS.

M10 Pro GPS. Do not assume Rescue is ready until you verify it.

Power-up

RADIO → GOGGLES → QUAD

  1. ARM off, throttle low, 6S battery securely strapped.
  2. Start the compatible ELRS radio, then compatible DJI O4 goggles.
  3. Power the quad last. Confirm ELRS, video, OSD and battery voltage.
  4. Outdoors, wait for useful GPS lock before using GPS features.

ExpressLRS binding

  1. Props off. Power the quad, let the receiver boot, then unplug.
  2. Repeat once.
  3. Power it a third time and leave it connected.
  4. Use the ExpressLRS Lua script on the radio and select Bind.
  5. Verify channels, endpoints, switches, telemetry and failsafe in Betaflight.

Modes and rates

In Betaflight Receiver, identify the AUX channel moved by each switch. In Modes, assign ARM deliberately and add only the modes you understand—such as ANGLE, BEEPER and, after setup, GPS Rescue. Rates are personal; adjust center feel and maximum rotation conservatively without randomly changing the tune.

PROPS-IN

This aircraft is PROPS-IN. Motor direction and CW/CCW prop placement must agree. The front blades sweep inward toward the centerline. Never substitute a props-out diagram.
